ADMISSION RULES
Under graduate programmes
  • Candidate for admission into the first year of the three year degree courses  B.A., B.Sc., or B. com., must have passed the two year Intermediate Examination conducted by the Board of Intermediate Examination, A.P. or any other examination accepted by the syndicate as equivalent there to. Students studying in another college of Andhra Pradesh seeking admission in the college in the middle of an academic year, shall have to obtain the prior sanction of the syndicate for combination of the attendance in the two institutions, for which application will have to be made through the principal of the college which the student leaves.
  • Those who do not live with their parents or certified guardians should be  prepared to reside in the college hostel.
Post graduate programmes

M.Sc-Chemistry (organic) I/II class B.Sc.with Maths, Physics and Chemistry as one of the optional The candidate shall be admitted into the above programmes on the basis of rank obtained by the candidate in an entrance examination conducted by the University after having satisfied the above mentioned eligibility criteria and in accordance with the rules and regulations including reservations, formulated by the University from time to time

ATTENDANCE
  • Each student is required to attend  punctually at the stated hours to lectures and practical classes.
  • The students are required to put in 100% attendance.
  • However 75% of minimum attendance is strictly required to make them eligible to appear for the examination.
  • For cogent reasons like sickness a student be allowed up to 25% absence on submission of a bonafide  certificate.This may be scrupulously followed and implemented.
    • (a) The absence of a student without leaves for any single hour in a session result in the loss of attendance for the whole session.
    • (b)   A student who has to absent herself shall apply for leave to the principal through her ward tutor and the ward tutor who shall, after ascertaining the facts, forward the applications with her remarks to the principal. Applications for leave of Absence which can be foreseen sufficiently in advance should be submitted On the previous working day to the Tutor and her permission taken before Leave is availed Application for leave of absence which cannot be foreseen in Advance should be submitted immediately when the occasion arises.
Conduct 
  • Every student shall wear a clean and decent dress approved by the principal.
  • Students are required to observe order at all times in the college and make as little noise as possible in moving from one room to another .They are prohibited from loitering in varandahs, during class hours even though they may be free at the moment.
  • Students are required to help in keeping the class rooms and premises tidy
  • Students are excepted to greet their teachers when they meet them. They should make room for members of the staff in passages, varandahs and buses.
  • Students are prohibited from organizing any meetings entertainments at the college for collecting money for any purpose with in the college with out the permission of the principal.
  • Students guilty of going over to other colleges to take part in acts of indiscipline such as organizing demonstrations and strikes would be deemed especially culpable and would be punished accordingly.
  • Students shall not hold any meetings for criticizing the conduct of the University or authorities of the college. Such meetings shall be deemed to be unlawful and the principal might take such action as such deems necessary to prohibit or to punish and in case she considers it very serious to report to the syndicate under section two or chapter VII of the code for rustication etc.
  • Regarding all matters not specified in  the foregoing rules, students shall aim at conducting themselves according to the higher standard of manner with which these are acquainted with due regard to rights of the others.
